I am interested in conservation and management of native species in
Currently I am investigating how non-native plants cause decline in small mammal
diversity and species abundance.
The first component of my current research is identifying how invasion of cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum L.) changes
the vegetative structure and food resources for small mammals of native sagebrush shrub-steppe. After understanding
these changes I will research their effects on populations of small mammals.
